I've spent the last two days in the Aspen area. Yesterday I went on a ride up to Maroons Bell. It was a beautiful ride up. Afterwards, I went on hike put only got about 1.5 up before the snowline.
Today I rode up to the top of Independence Pass from Aspen. It was a great ride up. I was happy to get to the top. The ride down was cold but not to bad. Now I feel ready for the tour in a week!
